What are the differences and similarities across student’s university decision-making journeys, and how can the University bridge gaps to maintain their position in the Higher Education market?
To gain insight into 17/18 year old’s experiences with university applications, their journey and decision-making process, we carried out a 10-week long online forum which was designed to track the journey, attitudes and feelings over time, uncover decision and influences, identify key touch points to meet needs and conduct a review of the market comms.
Depth interviews were also conducted to gain further detail into participant’s lived experiences and reasons behind their decisions.
Along with an interactive workshop debrief, case studies, infographics and vox pops were used to group themes and make such detailed research engaging, compelling and impactful.
This research inspired whole new applications process, a full shake up of the marketing and communications plan and new strategies for school engagement.
