The Question

What is the educational impact and appeal of various Oxford University Press resources?

We worked across multiple projects with Oxford University Press, with a focus on printed and digital learning resources for primary and secondary school students, to guide the launch of a range of home learning workbooks.

The Approach

Our approaches varied by project, including

  • Online forums with children aged 7-10 years and parents
  • Control vs Test group research evaluating impact of using these resources on 11+ exam success
  • Pre and post evaluations, using quantitative and qualitative approaches with students, parents and teachers
  • Quantitative surveys
  • In-home ethnography with children and parents

The Impact

Across these projects, our insights and recommendations have been used to direct the future of the resources. Various directions have been taken from content, layout and design, characters, ranges, as well as commercial direction and merchandising.
