Fighting against child poverty

Government statistics show 4.1 million children now living in relative poverty compared with four million the previous year, accounting for more than 30 per cent of children.

In 2018, Orbit Housing Association launched their Happy, Healthy Starts campaign to tackle child poverty by setting up strategies within their own portfolio to provide support and to also communicate to other housing organisations how they can help.

This campaign was designed using insight from research by Platypus that explored what everyday life is like for parents and kids living in poverty.  We will bepresenting some of the findings and the outcomes at the Market Research Society kids and youth conference on 24th January.  Click the link below to find out how to get tickets.
